A new partnership agreed upon between our Foundation and the Association of Political Scientists of Vojvodina (VPA) has save the latter’s journal Politikon whose termination, due to lack of funds, was announced last winter.
Co-founder of the Foundation, political scientist Tibor Purger of Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, has voiced his satisfaction that the only independent multilingual media house in Vojvodina will expand its portfolio by adding another Serbian-language publication with occasional studies in English as well.
The partnership will secure continued printing but also an improved online presence and enhanced scientific classification of Politikon.
“Politikon has published 33 issues since 2011,” says Association President Prof. Duško Radosavljević and adds that “the collaboration will enable its continuation to a 50th and hopefully even a 100th issue.”
Politikon continues to be edited by the same scientific staff to be joined by the representative of the Foundation, Associate Professor Katinka Beretka of the Lazar Vrkatić School of Law and Business in Novi Sad.
